Actually, no. When the series was announced, that was one of the kickers.

Serious question eric.
Do you think the schools would schedule better OOC games if all of them only played 8 conference games?
Shit yes. There was a year in the 90s Iowa played 2 top 10 teams ooc and 4 P5 teams. Even as recently as a few years ago we were playing 2 P5s ooc nearly every year . I liked playing Nebraska , K State , Arizona , Arizona St, Syracuse , Pitt etc etc . Sadly a lot of teams playing 8 league games still schedule shit ooc and it ends up skewing shit . Id be fine going back to 8 as long as everyone had to play 2 P5s oocYeah I hate the 9 game conference schedules. Makes the sport to regional and I don't like that. Take a look at some of the schedules in the 90's. They were great.

Both #NotreDame vs. #Wisconsin games will be Shamrock Series games. But due to TV, home teams are Irish in Lambeau, Badgers in Chicago.

I can see why you are confused. I was talking about Florida the thread title. TBO I don't give a rat's ass about Iowa. The Gators haven't been out of the state of Florida for a regular season OOC game since 1991. I think it's great that they are going out of state for future regular season OOC home and home games. You were responding to an Iowa fan who said that it is difficult to schedule two P5 opponents and you followed up with “well USC can do it and so can Florida and FSU can.” So what were you talking about then? I gave you the full conversation.
That'd be great for all of us that are not just regional CFB fans. I'm just pessimistic about ADs (and coaches) being willing to do it.Yeah I do.
No, the only person is you, if you are willing.Pretty bold request for someone that doesn't even know you, let alone love you. Don't you have orderlies in the retirement home that do that shit anyway?
YES!!!!Serious question eric.

Other than the game against Michigan in 2017?I can see why you are confused. I was talking about Florida the thread title. TBO I don't give a rat's ass about Iowa. "The last time Florida played a NON-CONFERENCE GAME-outside of the state of Florida, in the REGULAR SEASON, WAS 1991 (they lost to Syracuse)". Yes 1991.
I think he means a true road game out of state . Altjough if you're Florida and can play FSU/Miami thrn who really cares ? Going out of state is really only important to play quality opposition or for recruiting . Gators can get both in state . Going out of state is fun for fans thoughOther than the game against Michigan in 2017?
You're right that game was played in Arlington Texas and that was the first regular season OOC game that the Gators has played outside the state of Florida since 1991.Other than the game against Michigan in 2017?
YES!!!!
Except they rarely ever play Miami. Over the last decade they are just as likely to play a second FCS school as they are Miami. So it’s typically two scrub G5 teams, an FCS, then FSU; and in that order.I think he means a true road game out of state . Altjough if you're Florida and can play FSU/Miami thrn who really cares ? Yes I would love to see a Florida and USC home and home series. You're right it is fun for the fans.I think he means a true road game out of state . Explains all those bed sores. No, the only person is you, if you are willing.![]()
Me too. LSU has been good about coming out West to play home and home series, in the past.I know the fans would want it.
I don't care if we play Kentucky every other year. I'd rather see a home and home with somebody like USC or Michigan.
