Those are the only two schools where I saw firsthand a slew of drunks out of control at a college football game. Elevate your reading comprehension and you will understand that I'm not indicting all of college football; I'm saying my experience has been when a stadium is full of drunk college football fans they are obnoxious. For the record, I've been to a bunch of Nebraska games over the years and the Huskers fans are a class act. Win, lose or draw they are what college football fans are supposed to be like. But who knows if a bunch of them were half drunk and not enjoying the way the game was going? Same thing at OU. Alcohol at college football games is a bad combination. Baseball is different.

I agree w/ goldbug in a sense that it's a different fan base than it was say 20 yrs ago and how do they regulate 90,000 people if you have someone going down to concessions and buying beer for minors that can't control themselves.

I also figure most anyone that's gonna get hammered will do it out in the parking lot before the game and at halftime anyway. That's what we always did anyway. The university may as well make some money off of it.

They have alcohol in the skyboxes in Lincoln. The university is on record saying those who bought the skyboxes have rights to them so they aren't monitored for what goes in and out.
