Obviiously his legs make him intriguing qb option. How does him being annointed starter affect mccoy, watkins?

It makes them better. Because, and I can't stress this enough, Cassel SUCKS. The opposing defense has nothing to worry about outside the pocket, or five yards beyond the first down line. He offers nothing but experience. Experience at being very, very below average.

I really don't understand the love he gets in the media. Yes love. The "safe" pick? Are you kidding me? How is he safe? That's all I hear. Am I watching different games? I swear, the media hasn't watched a Bills game in 19 years.

Taylor has a pretty good arm. Very good actually. I was surprised, because I had the same skepticism going in. He makes every throw Cassel can, better. And makes throws Cassel can't.

Watkins has been "unrecoverable" in camp, and we have good corners.

He's not gonna be totally consistent, but he's incredible.

What round do you keep him in?

I agree TKO. Some of the ESPN talking heads were discussing his today and one guy said they got it wrong because the other two have experience.

Meanwhile, I am thinking that if an experienced player proves he is mediocre to terrible, then why not go with the unproven option? He might end up being good.

At some point Brady and Rodgers were unproven also. What if nobody ever gave them a shot?

I like Watkins as a WR3 with upside with Taylor as the QB.
I think McCoy gets a boost due to FredEx getting cut, and we all know that the option QBs open big lanes to run through.
Cutting FJax makes me think Rex is playing some media games regarding McCoy's "hammy" issue.
Might not even really be hurting at all right now, just resting/avoiding unnecessary hits in preseason.

My outlook: they will run McCoy into the ground this year. Might even use up anything and everything he has left in the tank.

I dunno.

But it might really screw my Coma team.

Which has two QBs: EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel :L:
