He didn’t just “put up the peace sign”, he directed a peace sign toward an opponent as he was scoring. That’s taunting just the same as if he had just pointed at him. Just score and act like you’ve done it before and you get to keep your money.

Fwiw, he has tilted backwards quite a bit doing it. If those werent taunts- kind of hard to justify this one.
