As bad as violence against women is, this is violence involving a child. Not a f'ing chance in hell he is picked up by another team.
Adrian Peterson?

Simple answer is probably it's the freaking draft and that requires a lot of resources.I hope all teams black ball the guy. I'm surprised the Chiefs haven't dropped him yet. There must be financial reasons. Or maybe they think a team will offer something for him.
He's a $2 million hit against the cap this season and an unrestricted free agent next year. This act is going to cost him $60 - $80 million when all is said and done.
You think an NFL team can easily explain away this audio recording if it's actually verified?Hmmm, I would be willing to bet some money on this one. Not enough evidence for the DA to charge. That's going to be easily explainable for some NFL team to make the move.
Having said that, I hope you are right. I would love it if the NFL teams started taking some moral stands against some of these players
There's giving guys 2nd chances, and there's pulling a Bengals, Dorsey/Chiefs and just flagrantly exploiting it for cheap W's. At some point it's not a carefully considered 2nd chance, and instead not giving a fuck. There is an argument to be had for redemption for people who genuinely want to be better men but it does seem that the smart play is to just avoid these guys in the first place.
Agreed on all counts but its time for the Chiefs to transition to safe players now that they have Mahomes for awhile.I mean... it's more tongue in cheek humor... Clark has been clean since College and a lot of domestic abuse allegations I take with a grain of salt.

I hope he never plays in the NFL again. It'd be funny because he hasn't really made much money yet. Next season was going to be his big payday. Assuming he is an idiot with his money, His bank account is well under $1 million at the moment. Not living in the streets by any means, but not living the life of a start NFL WR.

I assume he would have signed a deal similar to some on this list. Probably not the top few, but with salaries still going up, he would have fallen in the $50 to $60 million range.

I'd rather they just double and triple down and draft all defense than any those guys. So, do the Chiefs draft someone like Mecole Hardman today? Hall, Isabella, etc?

I am not as sold on him as some are, but if those flaws are oversold, he's gonna be an issue for teams.I think they use one of those 2nd rounders and take a WR.
Man if they were to get Hakeem Butler...wheww

I'd rather they double and triple down on defense (mostly CB and S) than mediocre WR prospects with how the draft fell yesterday at DB for the most part. They definitely need at least one WR though. Can't rely on Watkins to last all season either. Would be a scary sight to see Robinson and Coates as your starters...
