There is an argument to be had for redemption for people who genuinely want to be better men but it does seem that the smart play is to just avoid these guys in the first place.

I don't think so. It's one thing if there are accusations, but having something tangible like this is a death blow IMO, similar to Ray Rice. And it should be, especially given Hill's track record of being a horrible person.

Hmmm, I would be willing to bet some money on this one. Not enough evidence for the DA to charge. That's going to be easily explainable for some NFL team to make the move.

Having said that, I hope you are right. I would love it if the NFL teams started taking some moral stands against some of these players

I mean... it's more tongue in cheek humor... Clark has been clean since College and a lot of domestic abuse allegations I take with a grain of salt.
