I know the no-hitter one. I don't really get the blowout one. Six runs is not unconquerable. You should be looking for anyway to get on base and extend things. IMO

Really ridiculous. I think some of the "unwritten" rules at least have SOME logic behind them - in certain cases. However, this is just useless.

Six run innings happen probably a few times per week. I understand the improbability - but saying a team should give up? Go screw.

I wish Dozier would have said something at 2nd base and Sisco would have laughed in his face. "They have good leadership over there"... HA... Yeah, a young player not giving up on a game. Let's make sure we correct that.

Okay I typically don't watch baseball, but I saw this play and I don't understand what the fuss is. So team A puts on the shift basically leaving the 3rd baseline unguarded. Team B reads the shift realizes the 3rd baseline is wide open. Team B bunts the ball for a basehit down the 3rd base line. Seem like a totally logical thing to do IMO

Teams ahead by 8 runs are supposed to shut down the running game.
Teams behind by 8 runs are expected to do whatever is necessary to make up the deficit.
Baseball needs to stop living in the past. If the shift matters, then live with the consequences.
