Alvarez needs to just come back and take over because the list of coaches who've turned them down is going to grow to borderline hysterical levels in the next 4+ weeks.

The known list so far of head coaches who've slammed the door in their face after they reached out to them:

-Chris Petersen

-Mike Riley

Let's be real here Barry. Cut the delusions. You're not getting anything better than an average-to-above average coordinator at a middling school and that's just a fact.

Your HC couldn't leave fast enough (for ARKANSAS no less) even with the opportunity to win another Rose Bowl.

If a coach refuses to leave a school as down trodden as Miami, you've got some serious issues.

This whole thing screams down cycle. It's coming Wisconsin, and it's going to be glorious.

All I know is, Camp Randall is one of the oldest stadiums in the country, seats 80+K, has a rich history, and has the most animated and loved band north of the mason-dixon(I don't care what you have to say about that tOSU fans). I know that the stadium is loud as hell. I know the gametime traditions go back decades. I know we've gone to 7 Rose Bowls in 22 years. I know we've had two Heisman winners and several candidates. I know we've beaten Ohio State and Michigan more than anybody else in the conference in the last 20 years, and I know how many games the refs stole to preserve that precious "Big Two" image. I know we have had and always will have stud offensive linemen coming out of high-school. I know the players who came from out of state love Madison, and some of them have moved back, including Ron Dayne. I know we have two of the top 5 statistical runningbacks in history. I know the athletics budget is top ten. I know the love of Badger sports sells out basketball, hockey, and football games. I know the fans travel well to bowls.

Someone is going to come here. Someone who doesn't mind holding the players accountable for their academics. Someone who recognizes that there's something special about the guys who came to wear the W. And we're going to keep it going.
