No one wants that dead end job.

Alvarez needs to just come back and take over because the list of coaches who've turned them down is going to grow to borderline hysterical levels in the next 4+ weeks.

The known list so far of head coaches who've slammed the door in their face after they reached out to them:

-Al Golden

-Chris Petersen

-Mike Riley

Let's be real here Barry. Cut the delusions. You're not getting anything better than an average-to-above average coordinator at a middling school and that's just a fact.

Your HC couldn't leave fast enough (for ARKANSAS no less) even with the opportunity to win another Rose Bowl.

If a coach refuses to leave a school as down trodden as Miami, you've got some serious issues.

This whole thing screams down cycle. It's coming Wisconsin, and it's going to be glorious.

Nebraska is the deadest of the dead end jobs......and that is a fact.

Our fans would never let a real coach succeed here. We have to have some guy who has never proven himself with all the rough edges we desire......basically just a raw coach in general.

Then 20 years later he will win a Championship......maybe even 2. And he will instantly become the best coach in the entire world in our eyes. And you can bet your ass we will never let you stop hearing about it either.

Lincoln wipes its ass with Tuscaloosa, but the difference is they have 5 star talent in their back yard and their momma wants to come to all their games.

Recruiting is the one thing that can make it difficult for a coach here. If you can't recruit you're dead in the water. Bo has yet to prove he can sell kids on moving 400 miles away from home.
