Swaim is a big loss, been playing well.Two similar teams, key to the game will be our ability to run the ball. Last time, the Redskins stout front 7 stuffed our run game, plain and simple. The changes we have made up front and Zeke rounding into shape makes me think things will be different this time. On the other side of the ball, I would load up against the run and play press man on early downs, get them in third and long, then send our pass rush after Colt and their banged up line

The offense while not great is considerably better with Williams out at LG and Amari Cooper as our number one. Should never have hired Alexander to begin with. The OL is playing much better with Columbo as coach

I got mixed feelings. One side of me thinks the Cowboys will stomp them,but I have seen back up qbs torch us before. I think we need to try to knock mccoy out on the skin's first series. If the skins have 8 and 9 man fronts we have to go deep and make them pay this time. Cooper can get open against anybody

Yeah, Maher reminded me of vandergat when he missed the extra point. I hope he starts kicking better or we may need to make a move. But for now I want to see if he rebounds

Not predicting a win by any stretch (don't spin it) but I think Smiths injury is a blessing in disguise .., at least for this game. Colt gets fired up it seems going against his home town team who passed him up in draft. As a Redskin fan you can only hope. You guys should be able to put pressure on Colt with our bandaid line easy enough, and if he goes down and the butt fumbler comes in I can only laugh. Our season wasn't going anywhere even with Smith. Not with teams like Saints and Rams to go through. However, winner of this game has the advantage to the division. I'm discounting Eagles and Giant's aren't worth mentioning. If we win then essentially 3 games up with 5 to play. You win were tied for first with us being up half a game in conference play... but edge to you overall the next 5 games. Doubt either team will make a push for SB if we get in the playoffs but you gotta get there to have at least a chance.... so good luck on thursday.

Amazing that Colt McCoy is making more plays than Dak. Dak looks afraid to make a play on the pocket in this one. Not saving Smith has hurt in this one but it looks like we are back to our anemic offense. Washington is ready for everything we have. Let’s see if we have 2nd half magic. A loss today and the season is likely over. Down 13-10 as the offense and special teams are costing us in this one through 2 plus.

I can't even watch this offense this year. Dak is uninspiring to watch. Everything thrown underneath, all routes run are 5-15 yard variety Makes it so Dak can't check down since there is no space created. I know Dak can make better decisions and passes than he's shown. Not sure if Linehan is coaching tight b/c he is on the hotseat or if his time really is over.

Edit: right on cue, a deep in route and Coop takes it yard.
