Does the Old ass Alex Smith who nobody ever really wants for a third and Fuller just to spite Kirk Cousins trade affect your fandom?
I went with it hurts because I am getting tired of the constant stupidity. TBVH, the only moments I thought we ever had a shot in the FO follows...
1- Mike Shanahan was in charge of personnel and Bruce was a background guy.
2- We hired SM to be the GM.
That is it. Since as long as I can remember, these are the two times I have felt hope for a long game. Both were short-lived and killed by Bruce Allen. That is when I realized Bruce has never been hands off.
I need to stop writing before I add a new category. I will call it the country roads category and say fuck it, fuck this team, I am done. I am that close from jumping off this sinking ship.
Really. I miss the good old days when every 2 years we just trashed everybody and started over. Now we gotta wait 5 or 6.Thats what I went with too.
The thing that kills me is it just feels like now I have to wait it out a couple years for them to finally move on from Smith, inevitably fire Gruden, and start over. It just makes me less willing to commit time and energy to them in the meantime basically. Ive got Penn State football to focus on lol.

I've never been a fan or had the energy to support TWO NFL teams, only the REDSKINS. Your BRONCOS wanted "Old ass" Smith as their starting QB, and offered a better deal...hmm

Not my Broncos. I supported them when they had Peyton and Peyton is he only individual player I ever cheer for.
The Broncos deal was not better. Talib is on he way out with a crazy salary and Fuller is on the way up with a third rounder salary. Getting rid of Talib opens up Denver to throw more money KC’s way. Mark it...Denver signs KC.
mark it down we trade for talib
Nope, the game and teams change every single year. It is part of the process. That goes for every level. Older guys like me miss the old days when you could keep a guy for 8 or 12 years ala Monte Coleman but those days ended with free agency. Been a Redskin fan since 1963, not going to change now and just to be clear "I Like Sonny!"
