They get upset by Penn State. Historically, over the last 10 years, there's been a 5 year gap between Penn State wins. 2011, 2016 and now 2021. Betting on history with this pick.

Fair enough. I can see the potential with a new starter, but also think there's a bigger gap in talent than there's been in the past.

In the East, possible. Although I think OSU has separated themselves the past 5-6 years in recruiting at a level no one else can match in conference, and after doing that for a while, it starts to make a big difference. I'd have to dissect closer what PSU lost this year.

In the west I'd be worried about Iowa more. but again, I'd have to dissect closer what Iowa lost from last year. I see OSU's crossover games are with Minny, Neb, and purdue...... lol. but they'll end up playing Iowa or Wisky in the CCG......

Before anyone gets their panties in bundle, I don't really expect Gophers to beat OSU

With that said, if I was to give scenario where I like MN to get the upset, we basically have the conditions in place

Minnesota has a senior QB with a very experienced OL playing at home vs a team that will be breaking in a new QB on week 1

OSU is still the better team but the conditions for an upset are there.
