No one should be lamenting the lack of pizzazz from today's hearings. Vindman in particular was compelling, and got right to the heart of why he was there without mincing words. He fought back, he demanded respect, and he reminded congress and the audience of what can make American its best if used properly. Not to mention the clear underlying agitation and even anger he felt about what he'd witnessed and reported, and the effort to excuse it or cover it up, even if he didn't speak with open anger during his testimony.
