I hate all this sort of thing. I mean, obviously, I'm a scientist. But it just misses the point of each by so much. They aren't the same thing. They aren't interchangeable. They seek different goals.

Telling kids they're wrong about a scientific conclusion in a class about the method scientists use to find answers and the answers that technique found does not infringe on their religious freedom. They're fully free to practice and believe whatever faith they have. Their faith just isn't the answer on their science tests.
