Scheer today suggested a coalition gov’t would raise the GST by .5% then gave a nonsense answer when asked where the hell that number came from.

That’s such a weird thing to lie about – .5% GST hike? Why not say they’d raise the price of PEI potatoes by 850% or they’re going to relocate Vancouver airport to Prince George? Get fucking outlandish, man!

Correction, he’s claiming they’d raise the GST 2.5%.

Tend to forget the rate when it’s all been HST here since the last tax grab.
