I remember during the DC Sniper, they would randomly close off roads and search "White Vans" because that was the vehicle the shooters were alleged to be driving. It was stated hundreds if not thousands of times a day that police were looking for a white van. Then, one day at one such traffic bottleneck a guy in a white van jumped the median, sped through a gas station and went the wrong way down another road before being stopped, dragged from his vehicle and held at gunpoint with a boot on his face. He complained that law enforcement was "too rough". He just said he was late and didn't mean to appear like he was running from the police.

He has been my example for years of exceptional tone deafness and critically lacking awareness.

Until now.

I guess it should've been pretty obvious - I can't imagine there are that many white nurses at a hospital in a city that's 82% Latino. Shit, I don't think there are that many white nurses at the hospital in my white bread suburb.

Rachel Notley got a raw deal in my opinion, Kenny. It's not her fault Horgan is out of his depth in BC.
