Roundabouts or traffic circles? Important distinction.
Never really considered that they meant two different things. Just looked it up
I'd have to go with roundabouts.

My city is barely recognizable any more. Most people still carry a gun, but hardly any carry a drop gun. That was one of my father's main lessons, one he taught me right before he left*, to always carry a drop gun.Cities change. Demographics change. The major institutions of England are still very present and at the forefront of London life. Have people added other elements to the culture based on their places of origin? Yup. It's not the same place at it was in 1950. That's life on a globalized planet. There are tons of Indians in London but if you were teleported into anywhere London you'd be pretty daft to think that you were in Calcutta.
And to use the Toronto comparison again there wasn't talk of it being un-Canadian when it was Italians, Ukrainians and Portuguese flooding in droves. For some reason, for some people it is all of a sudden when it's Syrians and Somalians setting up shop. Not really good optics there.
Major cities of the world are hubs for people to move into. They have an impact but I don't think any expert on urban studies would ever say that a city like Paris or London is no longer English/French because of immigration.
Then yes, that is incredibly purpose-defeating and stupid.Never really considered that they meant two different things. Just looked it up
I'd have to go with roundabouts.
This is bloody awesome. I just spread some freedom gas up and down the hallway outside my office.
That has to be satire, right?
Not to mention driving on the wrong fucking side of the road like ALL THE TIME!!
The Democrat Party 2020 ticket is shaping up!
