Hey, maybe next week, Trump will say that his father was born in Italy and changed his name from Trumpatoni when he arrived in America.

Meanwhile in the Great White North...

Let's ignore for a second that Canadian law is one party consent for recordings, something Trudeau has obviously by now been advised but is deciding to use that as the reason for throwing her out of caucus.

The conversation she recorded was between her and the Clerk of the Privy Council, who is supposed to be nonpartisan. Why would that be reason to throw her out of the Liberal Party?

The Liberals truly learned nothing from their last scandal 15 years ago. The fact they all rallied behind Trudeau when he's so clearly on the downswing instead of ditching him for a competent politician while there's still time shows they were truly deserving of their position in the national conversation when they were running Iggy and Stephane Dion as leaders.

I think Iggy would make a decent PM. I mean he's got the support of a good portion of Alberta and isn't afraid to drop the gloves, what more do you need?

Iggy!!!

He also never won a Cup so he instantly relates with every hockey fan in Canada.

Hey, we could've had PM Ken Dryden 15 years ago, why not.

That reminds me, @Comeds . Meant to tell you to stay clear of that new chick that got hired in Accounts Payable - Wendy Murderer.
But Wendy seems so nice. And she's thrice widowed! Poor thing.

Alzheimers is serious folks.

First off, true and sad. (Age Maximums for Public Offices!)

Second, I love the moment at 0:13 where you can see his lips ready to say "good" and he changes it at the last second, like his brain is realizing you say "good" and "bad" too much. hahaha.

Last, I never understand this argument. My dad was born in Germany.... so I have "a great feeling" for Germany. So, your dad being born there (even if true, which it's not) in the unidentified town of "Vunderfell," how does that afford a person special insight into a place?

Trump’s father, Fred Trump, was born in New York. Trump’s grandfather, Friedrich Trump, was born in the German village of Kallstadt.

According to a German historian, Friedrich Trump immigrated to the US in 1885, escaping poverty and allegedly catering to miners during the Gold Rush in the western US. He returned to Germany in 1901, fell in love with Elisabeth Christ. The two married and returned to the US.

Friedrich attempted to return to Germany in 1905 when Christ became homesick, but was ejected from Germany and ordered not to return after it became apparent he failed to perform mandatory military service. The couple returned to the US on a ship bound for Pennsylvania. Christ was three months pregnant with Fred at the time. Their son was born in New York City.

So, if any of you ever create a time machine... first stop is in Germany. Make sure that Friedrich passes that test and also murder Hitler's mother or grandmother while you are there. Cool. :thumb:

/Oh... and pick me up a sports almanac when you check in on the future. Thanks!
