Newly appointed fentanyl czar
FFS. Who cares?
I have to be honest, I was hoping to see the following...
FFS. Who cares?
when I was in university, I worked at a car dealership.I just put a "I'd Rather Be Masturbating" license plate border on my co-worker Jenkin's car.
FFS. Who cares? If she/he identifies as being brought up in a native home, shouldn't that be good enough? Mocking the fact that the ancestor was removed by X many generations is so dumb; every ancestor since then (on that side) will have been partly native American. Would it be a stretch that they all therefore considered themselves native? What on earth gives assholes like Trump and Graham the right to question how she was brought up or how she views her family heritage(and again who cares)?
Truly disgusting that more "evidence" or "data" will be brought to light determining whether Warren is, god dang it, a stinkin' halfbreed then was used determining whether Brett Kavanaugh assaulted three women.
On the positive side of all this maybe the test will reveal that Lindsey Graham is half Neanderthal (Un-American!!) and half C.H.U.D. (alien I'm assuming), thus rendering him ineligible to ever run for the highest office in the land. Baby steps folks, baby steps.
The idea that having any drop of native blood somehow makes a person a member of that culture, that nation, especially one as maligned as Native American culture, is a topic Native groups love to pounce on. Most don't allow registration without some sort of confirmed lineage and yet she went through all this trouble just to get to Trump but couldn't produce the identity of this supposedly Cherokee ancestor despite the fact that as far back as the 1970's she has apparently been aware of their existence enough to check "Native" or "Other" on demographic questions in various forms she's filled out throughout her academic life and identified as a "person of color".On the one hand, I'm with you. On the other hand, one ancestor 10 generations ago isn't enough to claim Native heritage, and certainly not enough to claim their struggles, and I think it's insensitive for Warren, from a decidedly privileged background, to leverage the historical and continued suffering of Native people for political gain, whether or not it's "technically" correct.
On top of which, much of her family's tradition's language is at least rooted in white supremacist history. It's not a good look on her, and I wish she would have high-roaded and admitted she had no legitimate claim to Native heritage.
I think the best thing I read about Warren said "she definitely didn't talk to any savages before doing this because not a single one, 3/5ths?, of them would tell her it was a good idea". She sat Indian Style around with her pure family instead and talked about how some of them are Republicans and "Fox News watchers". The red skin heritage portion of this was just a prop in the entire production and that is the most insulting thing she could've done here as she and Jane Fonda did the tomahawk chop while wearing Cleveland Indian hats and cheering the Vietcong shooting down US planes.
Needless to say, I'm reporting this to HR.Juiced it up for you.
I always strike when a girl gets hired because they belong in the kitchen. Please don't, after 2 'good' months I am back down to one strike. I do not want to go back up to 2 strikes. Particularly because a new girl is starting next month and I want save a couple strikes for her welcoming.
