Bums me out. I probably should go to a couple of games a year just to show a little support. But that stadium IS a dump. I wish the Giants & the city of San Jose would quit dicking around and just let them build a new house already.

I would love to be able to walk from work to a ballgame, and, if they come, that will pretty much be the set up for me.

And, if things go true to form for me, this will happen.

Nice. I used to get free Dodgers tickets (very decent ones including parking) but getting out of the lot after the game and onto the Hollywood Freeway just sucks so bad it became prohibitive. I'd much rather pay to see the Padres than go to a Dodgers game for free.

Yea I just enjoy baseball even if neither team is my own.

In the Hall of Fame Club. Not free but you have cover and private area to get things out of the rift raft aka everyone on this board.

It is/was not just cereal. TONS more people actually like the bickering, backstabbing, and smack talk, and tune in basically just to see it, and some, to participate in it.

It's a quality/quantity issue. If you want the masses, you have to give them this B.S. But, if you want quality, you have to keep the B.S to a minimum, so as to not scare away those who don't like this childish drama.

Big D is correct. We all love drama to some extent. Some more than others.

Also if you want masses in this particular thread, you have to cut back on the NSFW stuff. There are guys who stay away from this thread because of the hottie pics, if they're at work. I'm all over the place, and sometimes I'm sharing an office, sometimes I'm alone. When I'm in mixed company I can't come to this thread.

And then there are days like this morning when I simply can't do anything other than bear down on a project/deadline/emergency issue. I'm having "lunch" right now...
