Your question deserves a question.

How many star players, in any sport, marry dogs for wives? MAYBE 1%?

Therein lies the answer.

The ones that were high school sweat hearts. Also seem to be the ones that work out cause there were there before the money etc.

Table with stirrups in proctologists office >>>>> Petco

If you had ever partied in a doctors office after hours as I have, you will never think of those stirrup chair things the same way again.

Good times......:suds:

Just saving you the trouble. :suds:

Everyone knows that Padres fans call him Big Hoff. He's possibly as well loved as his brother in San Diego and second all-time only to Mr. Padre himself.

I wonder if they ever put him in a looney bin somewhere?

Him and Juan Gonzalez and Rafael are all probably somewhere sticking needles in each other just like old times.

I know Cliff Lee's wife is by no means a looker...High School

Is Labron's wife good looking? Not sure.

Only guys you don't hear about off the field/ice/court is hockey players. How many of them were on broke. None I know they don't get the same contracts but they also don't was money. They drive a BMW (as in 1) live in a 4 bedroom house and aren't dumb with their cash.

Anyone remember this one, from 20 years ago today?

Trailing by two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, Mike Stanley hits a pop fly to left for the apparent third out, but time had been called just as the pitch was delivered due to a fan running out onto the Yankee Stadium field. Given a second chance, the Yankee catcher singles which is followed by a Wade Boggs hit, a walk to Dion James, and a Don Mattingly single driving in two runs to beat the Red Sox, 4-3.

Boston should really think about building a new stadium on the scenic Charles River. :pound:

It could be built with Legos and the sports media would crown it "baseball's greatest achievement."

nope

here's a brock fact: i was never a die hard sox fan until pedro came in 1998. before '98 i liked baseball in general. including the yankees.

my favorites were dwight evans, dennis eckersley, john olerud, ricky henderson, nolan ryan, exc.... didn't matter what team they were on.

Some guy on the MLB board got tore the fuck up when I said something about how everyone associated with the Astros (personnel, players, media, fans) knew full well that Jeff Bagwell roided like a motherfucker. Said he had never heard anything of the sort. In fact, it might have been that dick ImSmartherThanYou who would argue that the sky isn't blue and the universe isn't big.
