So how can Allen screw this up?

Easily,
Two words, and they are, Bruce & Allen!
Separately, not too bad, but joined together, lethal!!:D

If the Skins actually walked away from that reported deal, than there truly is no hope.

I really doubt that deal was offered this early. Dorseys probably trying to get him for nothing

Apparently the personal vendetta is more important than getting return on your asset. BA thinks saving a few cap dollars each week by not paying Williams game checks is "good enough" to appease him and will likely wait until next off season to trade Trent, who's value at that point will surely have plummeted.

Can I ask you all a serious question? Is this organization (Snyder & Allen) really that stupid? :what:

He did the same thing in a different way with Cousin's. They should have had Cousin's after his first year starting for $20 million per but he kept jacking around and tagging him so he inflated the guys salary. All to prove he wasn't going to over pay … but he probably did over pay. He would still be on my Xmas card list if I was Cousin's because he got the money and he got out of town all thanks to Bruce's bumbling.

Maybe trent is not really tradeable right now , injury etc etc not in shape or bruce is like taking a stand of if you sign a contract with redskins and dont honor it sit out we still wont trade you sit out till your contract is up we dont care .. but if someone offers a first you take it period

I can't forsee the Browns being unwilling to deal a first for Trent.

TW's is likely in the best shape of his life and injury free.

Trent is more tradeable now that he ever will be. He is injury free, his cap hit the next 2 years is minimal. He has multiple pro bowls and, when playing last year, showed no signs of a drop off. This is the time to trade him and a few others.

Curious the logic here to not deal

I just assume Dorsey is lowballing Bruce, if so I don’t blame him for not trading. The best offer will come right before the deadline.
