You remember that game in Anaheim when Hough had the no hitter?
I don't. Seriously. Refresh me please.
I mean, I remember the game, but you've zeroed in on something which is evading me.

Agreed, and this is what good LO hitters do. And the jury is out on Mr DeShields right now. And honestly, that's OK. It's way early in his career.
But admittedly, I was hoping to see a better CF this season (routes to the ball) and an "improved" arm. To date, don't see either.
Not sure why anyone would expect to see a better arm. They pretty much h are what they are at this point.
It was in 1986. We were in a pennant race with the Angels, but it was still in June. Hough had a no hitter in the ninth inning and George Wright committed a 3 base error on a fly ball. The next guy up singled in the tying run that shouldn't have been on base. The guy that singled went to second on a passed ball. Then after an strike out and an intentional walk to Reggie Jackson there was another passed ball on what should have been a third strike and the end of the inning. The runner scored from second because Hough failed to cover home plate. The Angels would go on to win the division and they would say that that was the game that propelled them and gave them the confidence they needed.I don't. Seriously. Refresh me please.

He just got their only two hitters out...didn't seem that bad. This latest "pitching experiment" from across the great water isn't working out right now.
Not being able to score more than one run off Weaver will be the reason they lose today...that's so pathetic.

Yes, even without his best stuff Perez kept them in the game. Not being able to score more than one run off Weaver will be the reason they lose today...that's so pathetic.
Not enough face palms for today's offensive "effort".
