Its really become bad for MLB, you never know how they will call them. Clear outs become safe and safe base runners get called out. Just terrible black eye for the game right now

Not to mention the whole concept of the fielder holding his glove on the base runner hoping for a sliver of daylight to appear so he can be called out on replay is ridiculous.

Yep if you cant make the call there w the naked eye, you shouldn't get to got to replay and put that under the microscope to call a guy out.

Yeah im all about the game evolving but they seem to be TRYING to fuck up baseball at every opportunity. Im not so sure about these calls they are questioning this week either on the Bautista play at 2nd and the Rasmus play last night. I would have always called those guys out for dirty baseball. Cant grab at a guys legs to break up a DP and cant go in spikes up waist high on a guy at 2nd

Hard to play through the pain in the hand or wrist in baseball. My 13 year old daughter broke her hand last friday night in a softball tournament in OK and thought she was gonna play through it too. Not so much! Good news is doctor said she will be ready for fast pitch this summer

I am okay with those calls at 2nd. I know in the case of Rasmus they were not going to get the guy out at 1st regardless but after the serious injuries that happened last year at 2nd base they have to be consistent and Rasmus went a little overboard there. But when they were looking at replays last year to call a guy out who was obviously safe to see if a part of his body lifted up off the bag as he slid into/over it that was ridiculous.
