Cuts that surprised me:

Deon Cain
Ryan Switzer
Derwin Gray
Dan McCullers
Tuzar Skipper
Antoine Brooks

who the hell is Ray-Ray Mccloud?

Always feels like a kick in the nuts to release a draft pick (Brooks).
Cutting Cain is a mistake I think. Switzer is the big surprise for me. Not that it wasn't called for, but he's Ben's best friend on the team. Makes sense, just surprised. I've never even heard the name Ray-Ray Mccloud before lol.

We're in the dark with this stuff with all the Covid shit and now cameras or pre-season.

Steelers signed Dobbs back, Duck cut.

Also signed Sean Davis back. Don't know who got released.

Looking at Dustin Colquitt, too.

Patriots cut 2 draft picks both are on practice squad.
LB Caash Maliua and K Justin Rohrwasser
Maliua looks good and needs more practice.
Rohrwasser looks bad and needs more practice. maybe a lot more.....

Curtis Riley got cut... which is very confusing. He was drawing rave reviews all camp.

So they opt to keep Marcus Allen who has proved absolutely nothing, and Jordan Dangerfield who gets no respect I tell ya.

Bringing back Sean Davis is a great move. Love that we brought back dibs too. Even though crap head Rudolph will back up.

Dobbs also gives us a “Lamar” capable qb to practice against

how did we sneak McCullers and Winfield there....

I'm content with it, even though it does carry some risk. Cam earned every penny & more, and his stats haven't shown any indication of a decline in level of play. Still in his prime.

PS announced:

QB Devlin Hodges
RB Trey Edmunds
RB Wendell Smallwood
OT Derwin Gray
OT Anthony Coyle
OT Jarron Jones
TE Kevin Rader
WR Deon Cain
WR Amara Darboh
DL Daniel McCullers
DL Henry Mondeaux
LB Jayrone Elliott
S Curtis Riley
S Antoine Brooks Jr.
CB Trajan Bandy
P Corliss Waitman

That’s gotta be one of the most talented PS’s that I’ve ever seen
With COVID they extended the PS and who can be on it. Heck look at the QB’s on the Chiefs squad and they have one of the Best starting.

when has that mattered to tomlin? and colbert for that matter
I guess since they realized they are a mediocre, at best, front office when Ben isn’t around so maybe they actually are going to try this season getting the best 53?

Yeah too much for him and they will be trying to defer that contract to more signing bonus in a year or two.

Yea I didn't hear about the covid changes to the PS. Figured they'd expand it, but didn't know they would take away the prior qualifications... Seeing all the vets being placed on PS's around the league made me assume they had made changes. Prior qualification was somethin like the player couldn't have been on an active roster for more than a year or somethin like that.

Not saying he didn’t earn it but paying guys that much at that age rarely works Out...

I hear ya. Hence why I said it carries some risk. I'll just consider it a pay-raise over the past 4-5 years.
