Depending on his injury he is out for a while and it looks like he may never be the same.

At the same time you have a 4 seed team that is a star away from a top 2 seed and 2 stars away from being a favorite to win it all.

If you can get anything for him it would free up some cap space or maybe you could even get a melo? You would only have him for a year and you need a scorer and you already play good D.

The biggest problem would be who would give anything for him? He is owed $60m over the next 3 years (not including this year) and it does not look like he will ever be a good player again let alone max contract.
