To me its more the supporting cast.
Winston-to-Tillman > Rudolph/Levis-to-Ridley

I actually do like Ridley for one more game with Rudolph. But once Levis returns, i think its downhill from there.

And maybe Tillman is being exaggerated? Elijah Moore is just as capable of stealing targets from him imo. And maybe the Browns threw more to ease in Chubb? But Winston gives the Browns better stability.

So ship out '25 2nd and '26 2nd to get both Tillman and Ridley?

@averagejoe. I agree with your take on the Titans eventually going back to Levis at some point soon, as they have to this season just to be certain they're taking a QB with their first pick next spring. No one thinks Rudolph is the answer.

I doubt anyone thinks Levis is the answer either.

But at least he young enough that he offers some theoretical upside

Thats my bad. I thought we were talking "futures" and comparing Tillman with Ridley. I forgot this was a trade discussion.

Two second round picks does seem steep. Especially if they are earmarked for the bench or "bye week" fill-ins.

Well, it is D2, and no, I'm not taking that.

I know we don't have a fit, but I'm amazed at the lack of interest from the others. On the verge of standing pat and seeing what happens.

And just so this doesn't turn into a hijack, I'm voting for Tillman. Ever since Ridley's troubles, he just hasn't been the same.

Ain't it sad that the Browns backup QB makes Cedric Tillman look like he's worthy of being in a conversation with what Calvin Ridley has become around any Titans QB option? On multiple levels? I mean... sad that Winston was behind Watson, sad that the Titans QB situation is THAT bad, just sad.

Ridley is hands down the superior talent. If you're investing long term, I put a chip in his spot and play with the Titans finding a QB or him finding a new home, before I buy that Cedric Tillman is an emerging star

Well we say “backup” but the starter should have been the backup if not for a ridiculous contract. It is a sad situation all around but I am sure most are laughing.

Not even there to choose Tillman over Ridley except hope and age. I probably trust the TEN QB situation right now about as much as I trust the Browns FO to select a good QB in the draft

Combo of bad depth + injuries makes it a glaring weak spot. Took the Ridley deal so my top 4 are at least serviceable now for 16 team league.

Yes but looking at it dynasty wise, neither qb is the long term answer

Ridley got 12 today
Tillman got 19 today but before the garbage TD he was sitting at 12. He is still a wildcard

If this is a play for next year and beyond.
Ridley is pushing 30, limited offense, ceiling is borderline WR2 / flex play next season and how much longer?

Tillman:
- 24, 2nd year in the NFL, good talent coming out of college but was injured in final yr. Potential WR1 / WR2 on the Browns going into next season
- limited sample size, questionable QB next season (for better or worst)
- I liked Tillman coming out so it's not surprising he's showing out with this opportunity and I think he keep this up. Potentially fantasy WR2 for years to come.

Ridley rest of season schedule and acquisition cost were main reasons I targeted him. On flip side, Tillman sees some of the toughest pass defenses to finish the season.

Tillman owner said mid-late 2nd would be the cost so I wanted to see if any better options could be had at that price

So like pick 20-28
If it's not superflex then I think Tillman is better than anyone you find in that range

With considering the future. I dont like either WR nor the teams they play for.
I have always been able to find WRs in the draft & in the 20's range. Quality rookies pop up every year.
I know I am in the extreme minority here. I would use my draft pick & not send it away for someone I think I would end up replacing later anyways.

I held onto my '25 2nd but did end up dealing an extra '26 2nd that I picked up earlier.

Such a funky fantasy season, feel like there's only a couple dominant teams across all my leagues and I'm in about 10. a lot of 5-4 and 4-5 teams that could go either way in both redrafts and dynasty leagues, myself included in a few.
