Weighing a couple of options. I need some WR help, can move draft capital for Ridley or Tillman.

Ridley has a soft schedule and past his bye week already, Tillman 5yrs younger but has had limited success as a pro until the last 14 days

This move won't make me a title contender, but my team is clearly better than the handful of teams at the bottom and is also capable of spike weeks that can beat the top teams in the league.

Damn dude, I can't bring myself to vote..................lol. I guess Tillman as that QB situation in Tenn probably isn't gonna get any better soon. At least tBrowns will have JWinston slinging it fer a while. Now, the other side is where will Ridley be playing next year? Pretty sure he is on a 1 year deal. Sure wish it was him that got moved rather than Nuke...........

If this is D2, I think you should trade for either Tank Dell or Terry McLaurin. ;)

You taking a 2nd rd pick for either of those guys?

(It is not D2, and I know you're not taking that!)

Well, it is D2, and no, I'm not taking that.

I know we don't have a fit, but I'm amazed at the lack of interest from the others. On the verge of standing pat and seeing what happens.

And just so this doesn't turn into a hijack, I'm voting for Tillman. Ever since Ridley's troubles, he just hasn't been the same.

lol. I actually think tillman is good. He was a good prospect who got overlooked. He could of gone higher. Ridley has two big games this year. If they can get the qb under control, he has it. I give last year a semi pass. The jags are still the jags and he was gone for a year with issues outside of football as well.

Ain't it sad that the Browns backup QB makes Cedric Tillman look like he's worthy of being in a conversation with what Calvin Ridley has become around any Titans QB option? On multiple levels? I mean... sad that Winston was behind Watson, sad that the Titans QB situation is THAT bad, just sad.

Ridley is hands down the superior talent. If you're investing long term, I put a chip in his spot and play with the Titans finding a QB or him finding a new home, before I buy that Cedric Tillman is an emerging star

I don’t think any of us can answer this question based on what is given.

Seems your team is in limbo. Not good enough to contend, not bad enough to get top picks.

If your team is young and on the upswing, then good.

If it is old and just not good enough to win, that is not so good.

Either way, I don’t think this trade concept is moving the needle.

But if it is door number 2, I would be selling.

Yeah, the problem in this league is a few teams are so bad, even if I'm successful in selling, it would take a miracle to push into a top 5 pick next year. So instead of hoping things fall my way for losses I figured a small move or two to see if I could gain some momentum would be more fun.

When Puka, JTaylor, and Achane are healthy, my team competes with the best of them, even with weak WR depth. Only 2 teams have solid depth, so the "contenders" are mostly in a similar position as me, needing starters to stay healthy to make any noise. If Ladd and/or McMillian can get things going + I add a decent WR2 type, my opponent will need to have a day to beat me

I think this is an interesting one. ROS I think Tillman will be better than Ridley. Significantly so as well.

But in a 2 to three year span I think Ridley is the much safer option.

UPDATE

Ridley owner pivoted, he asked for my '25 3rd (16 teams, even middle of pack pick has minimal value in 3rd rd at best) and someone else's '26 2nd i acquired from another deal.

Tillman would still be on the table for my '25 2nd as well if I wanted to push some more chips in. I have two '25 firsts, which will most likely end up being WRs

Ridley rest of season schedule and acquisition cost were main reasons I targeted him. On flip side, Tillman sees some of the toughest pass defenses to finish the season.

Tillman owner said mid-late 2nd would be the cost so I wanted to see if any better options could be had at that price

A second round pick might be too much for Tillman. Depending on your need for a wr this season and if you are contending to make the playoffs.

But I am not afraid of the schedule for Tillman. Think about Cleveland is that they have potential to be an actual good offense.

That’s why I like Tillman more than Ridley.

And Jameis is a thrower. Until Chubb shows he can be an elite rb this season i see the browns being a pass heavy team.

One reminder on the 2nd rd pick, 16 team league so the absolute best it will be is pick 27 if i make the playoffs. Even if I lose out, looking at roughly pick 22-24 cause the bad teams are BAD

Sure. But in those larger leagues rookie qbs get boosts, and your bench is already weaker. So you may find a value pick with even the 32nd pick.

To me its more the supporting cast.
Winston-to-Tillman > Rudolph/Levis-to-Ridley

I actually do like Ridley for one more game with Rudolph. But once Levis returns, i think its downhill from there.

And maybe Tillman is being exaggerated? Elijah Moore is just as capable of stealing targets from him imo. And maybe the Browns threw more to ease in Chubb? But Winston gives the Browns better stability.
