I agree Skinsdad
Based on Hog Haven projected possible compensation:
I would decline a 2nd for J.Allen but consider a 1st
Offer Kerrigan to the Ravens, and would settle for a 4th
Keep Moses, unless I got an outrageous offer
Colts will give you Hooker and a 3rd for him.I agree Skinsdad

How does Allen warrant a first round pick when he really hasn't made an impact in the NFL yet? Can he be a good player? of course, but right now if offered a 2nd we should take it. We have Settle to backup our two Dt's. RK or Allen should have already been traded. If we are offered a 3rd for RK we should take it. I don't see a trade market for Moses. This is probably his last year here. He would have a great year to stick around in the future with this team.
I don't see anything happening right now. IF we are eliminated from the playoffs before the trading deadline then we should revisit this.
You seem to be under the idea that a first round pick means a big impact. Allen has been a good, young player, better than most selected in his range. He may be better in a 4-3. If we accept a second, do you expect him to equal Allen? Odds show he is not Allen’s equal, so why would we accept the offer?
b/c there is a log jam on the dline. I think Allen or RK should be moved. We should be talking to Indy about Hooker. There is no way in hell the skins are turning down a 1st or 2nd for Allen. Hooker for RK would be ideal!!
Depth on rookie contracts is a great thing. Accepting a second for Allen with two years left on his contract is foolish. You can get that next season, so why accept a second now?
Im saying they should of done it before the draft. That 2nd could of been Mims. I like Allen but its a numbers game at the DT position. I also think Allen could be a De in a 4-3 that is why I wanted to trade RK. Teams like the Pats, Dolphins, And Vikes who had a lot of 3rd round picks in the draft wouldn't want RK?
The fact that they didn't entertain the trade for RK didn't make sense to me. He is going to be a backup player at 11M this year. They are not going to extend his contract b/c now we have two young DE's. I don't see how he is on the team in 2021
Allen is more valuable to this team than Mims. 2nd in 2020 was no different than one in 2021 because at this point Allen has two years left here. We can always trade Allen next year for a second.
As for RK, do you believe they didn’t entertain trade offers for RK? I would say you are wrong on that. They may not have received any or the offers were not high enough.
I think a rumor about trading RK would have made it into the news. RR didn't want to hear it. Allen wont be traded next year b/c RK would not be back and Allen could be the backup DT\DE.

certainly allen has played at the level of a 17th pick overall and why would you take a loss of spending a 1st rounder on a guy to get a 2nd ?
Allen 36 career games 36 career starts 139 tackles tot . 15 sacks , 18 TFls 31 qb hits for his career
ionman 54 games 34 starts 130 tackles 20.5 sacks 20 TFLs 44 qbs hits for his career
ioman is a pro bowl DT and allen career stats are right in line with the PBer with one less year in his career
so taking anything less then a 1st rounder for him is a net loss
settle on the other hand has 31 games , 1 start 2 sacks 15 tackles 3 TFL's and 5 qb hits in 2 years and you think he would match the production of allen ? i do like settle
now getting rid of a d/lineman at this time weakens our defense since our secondary and lbs are avg to sub par
. the only decent shot we have is to get great d/line play to help our back 7
i would need a hell of alot more then a 2nd rounder to trade him
that's fine. Then we will get nothing for RK. I hope Allen has a great year.
RK could be trade able but i dont see us getting more then a 4th or 5th for him . i also dont get why after one down year in which he was injured why all of a sudden he has fallen off a cliff .
i like the idea RK mentoring sweat and young . but i have to get a decent deal before i part with RK

its b/c of his salary and the abundance of talent at the DE position. 11m a year for a backup mentor? That is crazy in todays NFL. I just have a hard time believing we couldn't move him before the draft. Nothing against the player just looking from the team perspective.
we are not in cap trouble at all and wont be . now if we need to trade him to get a must have piece or pieces then i say go for it.
but since are 2 starters (projected ) are on rookie contracts and are cheap
