What they are signing is depth. Are these guys stars? No. But as we draft our future stars, these guys provide great depth and STs play. Did you see our STs last year? Think they cost us any wins?

Isnt Crawford coming back off a blown knee?? Wouldnt rule Chase out that easy in light of that. Returner trying to come back from that is kinda sketchy. Remember Banks?

While we are not elite at CB, I do feel we now have at least a competent crew at this position. Much better than what we have a S or ILB right now.

That's not what skins dad said. What he said, and what all NFL teams follow if they are any good at drafting, is you draft BPA at a position of need. Especially in our situation with so many holes. Now a Denver can just go BPA.

no he did not. he said BPA trumps need. Of course if you have a need and that guy is the BPA you obviously draft him. That is obvious. Still boggles my mind that Amerson was a better overall player than Swearinger.

We are not getting long term starters in FA so I would say just about any position we needed to draft going into FA is still technically a long term need. And I agree, if Minnifield can't break into the Top 4 CBs, he needs to be cut loose. He has done nothing in his time here.
