We clear about $2.3M in cap space. We did it before paying out a $250K bonus but it comes with a $1M dead cap / bonus pro-rate hit. Like Chester, because Porter was in the last year of his contract, the we came out in the red on the cap by releasing him.

so we just picked up 6 mil in cap space with both the cuts . so perhaps those young guys are better then we think

The question going forward is how much trust there will be in D. Hall's ability to stay healthy. If he is merely good in the slot or FS I don't believe that will be enough to pencil him in on the 53. Double AT surgeries spells double trouble for his future here.

Outside of Hall, there is some depth at CB and SS. Now the real question IMO, is the FS spot.

sty, i think hall will get the shot to start at CB anf will keep the job until he proves he cant cut it anymore
