We got very little in return for Allen, Young and Sweat.Figured as much
Look Allen played well for us . He was a multi time pro bowler and he came back very quickly from the torn pec. I thank him for his time here and wish him well
Definitely feels like this will be Payne's last year with us.When Payne goes next year, it’ll be the end of a really bad chapter of redskins drafting and player development.
Hard to believe the combo of Young, Allen, Payne, and Sweat were as bad as they were when considering their draft status.
Even harder to wonder what “could have been” if they had all been under their rookie contracts with this coaching staff.
Anyway, good luck to Jon Allen. If he would take less money, I’d glad welcome him back into the fold for a chance to compete.
Its doubtful in my opinion that he’ll get signed by a team that is any more likely than the commanders are to compete for a spot in the playoffs / win some games in the playoffs….
