If he goes pro, probably gonna play in Europe for a few years. Really not NBA talent at this point.

No way sir. He's projected as 35th overall pick.

He's gonna sign a pretty big deal if he declares for the draft.

Will see about that, JJM. I guess it does depend on what team takes him as well. I hope he can make and stay with team. A good percentage of the second rounders may get that good contract but don't necessarily make team. Good luck to him.

I'm still hoping he returns for his Senior year and plays for his Mother.

But that's me being selfish in the wake of his great loss that he just experienced. Whatever decision he makes I hope and believe he does it with her in mind.

Yep.

With the B1G growing stronger and stronger, we're going to see a rough next couple of seasons. 4 of our 5 leading scorers are out the door and Shavon is the only one left.

Shavon and Benny will be the leaders next year and we'll have to have young guys come in and fit in right away. May be looking at one of those 3 win seasons in Conference play next year.

We owe Terran a great deal of thanks.

We wouldn't have even sniffed the NCAA Tourney last season if he didn't do what he did. Essentially put us back on the map......for a moment anyways.

Dang too bad. I thought that maybe with so many others declaring he might stay to improve draft stock. Good luck to him

I have a pretty good feeling this is why Pitchford is passing up his Senior year.

Him and Petteway were buds.

so where's he going tonight? does he even go?

I saw some mock drafts that didn't even have him going. saw this article though that gives him a shot and as a sleeper pick for his work at both ends of the court: NBA Draft Shootaround: Whos Your Sleeper Pick?

Jonathan Abrams: I’m going with Nebraska’s Terran Petteway as my sleeper pick. He’ll probably go somewhere in the second round. He likely would have entered the draft in 2014, after leading the Big Ten in scoring, but his mother was fighting cancer — a battle she ultimately lost the day before Petteway planned to declare.

I like Petteway as a sleeper because he plays both ways and can guard multiple positions on the wing. He transferred from Texas Tech to Nebraska in 2012 and sat out the 2012-13 season. Not many players can say they shouldered the burden of the responsibilities for a Big Ten school like Petteway has the past two seasons.

slight chance he could be snagged at the end of the 2nd round…but by slight I'd say <10%. He'll likely get a camp invite then be cut and either play in the d-league or europe or china for a few years. If he's decent enough in europe/china he'll get a pretty solid salary for a while (china has the better salaries for american players). then eventually he'll find a real job in the real world

and so goes the most likely path of terran's life

but on the "sleeper pick" thing

He has Courtney Lee-level upside….so he could top out making 6-10Mil a year for a while and be a very solid contributor on a good team in the NBA

so goes the unlikely but possible path of terran's life :D

Not a surprise but I think TP will make a roster. He's an emotional guy who is also a hard worker. I think he'll make whatever team takes him into camp happy. His body language makes more sense when you consider his family situation. His mom evidently would say "Man up or bitch up". TP will man up. I believe it.
