Remember when you were actually expected to pay attention to the game? You just always knew the down and distance because you were paying attention. All field graphics suck.

Well at least we won't have to deal with that anymore.

It's one of those what were they thinking moments in that you have to know something that big and covers that much of the field is just going to anger people.

I mean if you're going to do it at least have a small logo at the top of the screen that it's horrendously intrusive.

Missing from this article is that Toyota said in its statement that they will not have any ads “once the ball is snapped.” Sounds to me like we may still be seeing them in the future!

A comment from the PFT report.

I think we will still see smaller ads, just not the giant eyesores that we were being forced to watch during week 1 of the preseason.

I don't think they realize how bad it looks to us on TV. Hopefully it's only for preseason.
