This game was a statement. So many talking heads picked the Chiefs. That wasn't even close. The defensive effort was amazing minus one play. A little Taco , a good Heath bar along with some Beasley special sauce makes for a good dinner. Just a beat down. Twill, Dez, Dak, the OLine. Best game of the year. 5-3. 3 wins in a row.

It's just so many weapons to go with an OLine that mauls. The Chiefs contained Zeke I thought. He had a nice game yes, but he didn't have those big gashing runs. Dak made them pay. He kept it a couple of times and hit the open WRs. The Dline is a force. In a matchup vs supposed "game manager" Qbs, one who is an MVP candidate - it wasn't close.

Its impossible to sign Revis. He is making 5 million if he sits. What are you going to do... give Revis 9 million for 7 games? He wont come at a discount because he gets 5 million for doing nothing. The Dline is playing so well I wouldnt even worry about it.

Due to a power outage I missed most of the 1st Qtr, but I thought outside of that stupid play at the end of the half we played really well. I can't possibly be the only one that yelled as soon as I saw every single DB that deep on that play. WTF were we thinking?

This is a good Chiefs team and they didn't really look it yesterday. Hunt - 37 yards rushing and 24 receiving, Hill - 1 catch other than the one at the end of the half. Kelce was OK but you aren't stopping him unless you double him and then you open up Hill to do damage.

Props to Heath. Not just one but two plays where he closed on the ball. One he came up empty on a 50/50 ball and the second he got and it ended the game. Two weeks in a row our DBs stepped up with a huge play and finished off the game with a big Int. That is not something we have said that often over the last few years.

Isn't it pro-rated? So he has about half left at this point. I'm not for Revis at this point. I think he wasn't the same guy the last 2 seasons and was really bad last year. I think our DBs will remain a little bit of a weakness for the rest of the year, but they have been OK for a young group that is still growing and learning. We still don't know what we have in Awuzie. I don't want to bring in Revis' attitude or $'s because I don't think his play will be good enough to offset it at this point. Plus we are going to need that rollover cap to resign our guys in the future.

He is just fun to listen to and I don't think that is just being a Cowboy fan. He had some funny comments too. I forget exactly what he said, but he was talking about our Defense being better than expected and said something like 'The DBs aren't very good though'. I laughed and was like uh-oh he is going to hear about that one from his ex-teammates before he gets out of town...

Almost forgot. Nice to see Taco get a sack too. Maybe that gets him going a little. With as well as our top 4 guys are playing it's going to be tough for some of these guys to get as many snaps as Marinelli normally gives them. I just don't think he wants to sit those 4 in big spots.

Also T Will had a huge game. He was great.

So T Will, Heath and Taco all did something good. Probably the 3 getting the most shit for their play or lack of play this year. Good to see

I pulled a Jones and didn't see the play until Hill caught the ball around the 40. Was watching at a casino while wife playing slots and planned on going home at the half, as I got back and saw him running like a rabbit being chased by coyotes, I kept saying "You got to be kidding me".

A bizarre point to make. Is it just me or does this team seem to have more problems with the sun in our own building than our opponents do? It's not like you are going to game plan around it, but maybe a few times we should be aware of when to not throw certain passes?

On the pass to Butler crossing in the back of the end zone it looked like Dak put it in a perfect spot, but he stopped running for a second because he thought he found a soft spot and Dak just tried to hit him in stride.

I think the Chiefs are pretty good but honestly I felt more trepidation about the Washington game than I did yesterday. September they really looked like the team to beat. The last few weeks they haven't been near as good. I thought Smith looked rattled all day. Our DBs played really well I thought. Brown got beat deep once but Smith missed him. Obviously our Dline is making a huge impact. Another thing - I thought we won half time adjustments for a change. I know KC marched down the field but after that first drive, nothing. Not sure the severity of the injuries or Zekes situation, but when we are at full strength it looks really good. Dak was a little off early but dialed it in. I have always thought his best comparison was Alex Smith. He totally outplayed him yesterday I thought. Lots of football left but we seem to be getting better
