A mellow fellow
1. Auburn- they bring back most of their team, and should be even better than they were last year. But the game is in Bryant Denny this year, so we will see what kind of slugfest awaits in Iron Bowl 2014.
Not to mention, Saban very rarely loses to the same team twice in a row.
Score: Alabama 31 Auburn 27
2. LSU- back to Baton Rouge with a first year QB... It's gonna be tough to beat LSU 4 straight times. Anthony Jennings under Cam Cameron could be a sleeping giant. LSU's defense will be more experienced, so they will be just fine this year. As always, this game will come down to special teams and turnovers.
Score: LSU 24 Alabama 20
3. Ole Miss- last year Ole Miss couldn't quite live up to expectations. Thats not to say that they can't live up to them. Narrow losses to Auburn, Miss State, TAMU prevented them from being a 10 win team. Alabama generally has owned Ole Miss, winning something like 24 of the last 26. But this year Alabama will be traveling to the Grove, and Ole Miss is going to be full of experience and talent on defense. Ole Miss always gives Alabama a hard time, kinda like Miss State. Ithink that they might just pull it off this year.
Score: Ole Miss 27 Alabama 24
4. Florida- welcome back Muschamp. This game will be just like any other Alabama-Florida game. In recent history, the Gators haven't fared well with the Tide. Of course, it could be close depending on the turnovers in this game. I say it will be a classic SEC defensive brawl.
Score: Alabama 16 Florida 10
5. West Virginia- you better believe Saban is gonna have an incentive to win this game, especially against his home state team. I don't know if West Virginia will have a QB go Peyton Manning on us like some teams QBs have done in the past against Saban. But I know that West Virginia doesn't have the horses in the trenches to compete for 4 qtrs with Alabama. It will be close for a half, then Alabama will takeover from there.
Score: Alabama 38 West Virginia 17
