Wilson is top 5 now Guy is scary to play against

Wilson entered the league as a huge ?.
After 8 games in season #1, he proved he was top 10 for sure.
Glad to have him as my teams QB. Yes, top 5 for sure (but it has been that way for 3+ years) yes?

Cutler didn't trade for himself. Cutler didn't offer himself that insane contract after very limited successes. I don think hate him as much as the gms we have had.

I think the last couple are interchangeable IMO. I put Rodgers on there bc his o-line is awful and WR's drop the most balls in the NFL. Cousins is having a great year
His OL us awful? I thought I've seen him BBQing brisket back there a few times this season. His line isn't awful, I'll givevyou he has no run support and WRs are dropping balls, but most of his bad play is simply bad passes.

Why do some have Wilson in their top 5? I must be missing something. I like RW and think he is top 10 but top 5? Not hating on him. Just curious what people think.

It depends on a few things.
Look at offensive efficiency in the passing game. Seattle throws less than most teams so rating a QB on yards alone can't give you a complete and fair picture.
TDs to Ints should carry some weight.
It is too easy to say a RW lead Seahawks team wins because of the defense, but to me one of the biggest stats in rating a QB is 4th quarter comebacks to win. I'm pretty sure he is one of the best at this stat since he has been in the league.
He is a winner no doubt.

Gotta put Stafford in the low part of the top 10 now. His starts are getting worse. Two bad outside receivers will do that. Carr probably ahead of him now.

Puts up very good numbers with one of the very worst OLs in the NFL.

His numbers are a little depressed because the OL was stealing paychecks for the first 5 games and he was playing through a sprained MCL and ankle sprain.

Since getting healthy he has looked extremely good.

Yeah I see what you mean. I definitely don't blame his success on the defense. He is a rare talent for sure. I wasn't sure if people were choosing based on stats or overall talent or both.

Well it's still not good this year. You know going back to the beginning of last year he has been sacked 70 times. That is the 2nd most in the NFL. Bortles is first. It is not the main problem but it certainly doesn't help.

I've called Rodgers the best for many seasons, just can't say it in 16.
Ranking all 32 NFL offensive lines entering Week 11
5. Green Bay Packers (81.9)
Nothing compares to Green Bay’s pass protection this season, despite the team struggling more than usual the last two weeks in that regard. They have allowed 72 total pressures, which is the third-best total in the league, but on a per-dropback basis, they have the best pass protection in football, despite Aaron Rodgers routinely trying to drag out plays in the vain hope that somebody will come open at some point in the play. As a run-blocking unit, they are actually pretty good, the Packers just rarely seem to ask them to prove it.
