Realistically, seven of the top 10 best to ever play the game did so in the purple 'n gold. Amazing.

Other than Larry Bird, ain't no green anywhere in this discussion unless you want to consider M.L. Carr.

To be fair, Kareem and the Big O both played for the Bucks who wear green.

If the Big O played today, he'd be a bigger star than BronBron.

And how can DJ mention Moses but not the Mailman? The Doc? 'Nique?

Shaq #3 of all time?
I am not even sure he was the 3rd best player of his era (Duncan, Kobe)

At his peak, it was the greatest peak no doubt.
Nobody (not even Jordan or Wilt) could touch Shaq's peak.

But, he was so freaking fat and lazy that he rarely pushed himself to peak performance.
Shaq cruised into the Hall of Fame with a 75% effort level. 75% Shaq was still amazing.

But, I cannot put him so high with the feeling that he half-assed a lot of things.

Even Shaq would agree with this and has said essentially the same thing. He'd probably still have himself at least at #3 though.

I think they are pretty much on par with each other except that Lebron has probably been on HGH/Steroids since High School

If Shaq has the work ethic of a Jordan or Bryant, he'd be the best ever. The agility he had at his size was incredible.

I think that's why he has Shaq at #3, because at his peak, he was the most dominant player I've ever seen....no offense to MJ. As for Wilt, I never got to see him play, so I can't judge. But peak Wilt definitely has the best numbers.
