Toomer and Spillman

I have read on twitter that we are also trying to sign an LB named Toomer and CJ Spillman- special team ace from SF

Apparently we may sign DE Jack Crawford too. The Spillman guy makes 1.25 million a yr. Does that mean we have to pay that??? This cant be good for Dixon , I wouldnt think

Toomer is taking Matt Johnsons roster spot. Drafted in 2012. Has not played in a regular season game due to injuries.
