RA is already back. He was only a day ban. I think Jed is gone for good though and it doesnt sound like that will change

i feel like i should add my input...i don't talk a whole lot unless i'm pretty drunk, but i read about everything that is posted on here. sure, jed loves to get under people's skin, and sometimes takes it too far. on the other hand, he often provided a good viewpoint on many of our topics. i do not know the full extent of what happened but I feel like the reason that most of us ended up here is because disney censored us away. i would just hate for this to turn out the same way. i don't have a problem with our mods, and i think that they do a great job (in addition to providing good comments). i just think this issue should be looked at more closely.

It was "only a day ban" thanks to BoiseStateFan (mod).

Brasky wanted me Perma-Banned.

On the ban it read..

"You have been banned for the following reason: Sock puppet account.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never"

Not only was he lying about me having a "sock puppet account", he wanted me gone forever.

Jed was able to get under folks skin because, most of the time, he was right in his assessments of our beloved Big Red. SOME people live in the "Do it my way, or I'll throw a temper tantrum" world.

Im glad to see RA and pops back and hope to see Jed back as well.

I know Jed can be an ass but there arent many of us here that arent from time to time.

Jed did contribute alot in discussions ( more than me for sure) and generally had good points even if I didnt share his opinion some times .

On the other hand RA still has an issue with my banning him and the circumstances surrounding it which have been hashed out over and over and over and over and over.. Spanning what seems like at least 8 threads.

I've explained my side. Not one of you (including ghost) has any issue with what I've done.

I really don't see what's left to discuss.

Things that have been fully explained to you, you seem to magically forget for each new audience. Continually bringing up dead issues. This isn't some sort of appeal circuit.

I think it would be in the best interest for everyone to move on but when what is wrong has not been made right it makes it real hard to move on.

Brasky you keep saying that it has been explained to him but even with that several people still feel that you abused your power in banning him and Jed.

I bolded the appeal part because I think that is a very important point. I think there should be an appeal made to bring jed back. Maybe a thread with a poll placed in it after both sides have presented their argument in one post and one rebuttal post. Perhaps this should be done regarding whether you abused the authority of a mod also and whether you should continue to be a mod. I won't call that one though there seems to be plenty of sentiment right now that would support that argument also.

I know it's not a democratic environment but if it's not a Jisney site either there should also be some way of moving on from this other then "I did it so shut up and sit down"
