Like IPW said there are no moral victories but I think the Bills played a pretty good team that hasn't lost at home to an AFC team in a long time and played them to the wire.

I feel for Freddy Jackson who plays his balls off but had two costly fumbles. Fitz played a pretty good game and I am not a fan of his.

The bottom line is this team is not good enough to over come that many penalties that put them in third and long situations. The penalties they take are the dumb ones, too many false starts, that's lack of discipline. Not making excuses but two of the pass interference calls were VERY quetionable....even Dan Fouts said they were.

Oh well, the bottom line is it's still a loss and that's al that matters.

NE has won 23 of the last 25 games from the Bills? That's beyond ugly...

Yes it is but ones like this hurt big time. They had a shot to win it they had almost 500 yards of offense and 35 first downs. That's pretty good production.

That's nothing, the Bills lost every game against the Dolphins in the 70's.

They lost 20 straight games before beating them in the Bills season opener in 1980.

1971 – at Buffalo, 29-14; in Miami, 34-0
1972 – in Miami, 24-23; at Buffalo, 30-16 (B)
1973 – in Miami, 27-6; at Buffalo, 17-0
1974 – at Buffalo, 24-16; in Miami 35-28
1975 – at Buffalo, 35-30; in Miami , 31-21
1976 – at Buffalo, 30-21; in Miami , 45-27

I was there for that game. The damn place went crazy and they took the goal post down.

No team in the NFL should be able to beat another NFL team that many times in a row, and no team should lose 23 out of 25 against another team.

This shows you just how bad the Bills truly are. They have no pride, and they give up way too easily most of the time.

An interesting note on that game. It was the closest they came to loosing a game in their perfect season.

All I know is that I'll be a bit happier today if the Jets lose.

Always good news when the Jets lose. IPW, I know what you said about moral victories but it was nice to see the Bills play a pretty good game today. Aside of the penalties for sure but they didn't play a bad game but good teams find ways to win games like that and the Pats did.

I can handle a loss better when I see an effort like I did today. I still feel we need a consistent starting QB and help at the linebacker position.

Boss, no offense, but I'm getting sick of saying or hearing this about the Bills. This team spent the offseason building up what should be a great defense, and it was for games like this one today.

This was supposed to be the year the Bills finally stop being a punching bag, and actually start competing in the Division again.

The Bills played a great game, but they still fucked up WAY too many times, and the Defense continued to struggle while not getting any pressure on Brady. The Bills still show that they can't find ways to win games when it matters, and they still make bad decisions or plays when the game is on the line.

I want to celebrate an ACTUAL win, not just settle for playing a great game, but just coming up short again.

Agreed.

This is the only thing that could make me happy watching football today.

LOL.

Nice fumble by Mark "dirty" Sanchez.

These guys suck more than my Giants and that's hard to do these days.

nice. Golden Tate with a nice 23 yard left handed TD pass to Sidney Rice.
that was a tighter spiral than Tebow can do.

Maybe the day will come when we have an owner that will spend the bucks for quality coaches to come here.

This goes back to the super bowl games. I never liked Levy but like Polian. IMO Polian built that team and they went to those super bowls because of their talent. Unfortunately Levy was out coached in every one of those games. If you change coaches I bet the Bills win two of those games.

For some reason Ralph never wanted to spend the bucks on the most important positions in an organization. That team in the early 90's should have been a dynasty team.

The Bill have tried for years to do that Boss, but no coaches who are worth anything want to come to Buffalo.

The Bills can only get coaches who were fresh and in their prime back in the 70's or 80's.

The Bills are always at least 5 years behind the rest of the NFL.

Well lets just hope and pray that some day us Buffalo fans can win something and not feel as miserable as I do. I swear I will never see us win a god damn thing. I hope i'm wrong but the fans of this city have suffered more than fans of any other city I can think of.

Damn, I'm getting depressed just typing this.
