Gotta love the NFL scheduling. Last week, the Eagles played the Steelers, who were coming off a bye. This week, they played the Lions, who were coming off a bye. Next week, they have a bye, and the week after they get to play the Falcons who will be 6-0 going into the game because they too, have a bye. And in week 11 we get the Redskins off their bye. Fully one quarter of our schedule has an extra week off to prepare for us (add in the ten days the Giants had to prepare for us in week 4 and it's almost one third of our schedule). Though to be fair it should be noted that "preparing for us" is basically just putting up a fathead of Vick on the locker room wall and putting a hit me sign on the football part.

There are only three teams in the entire AFC with winning records. As shitty as the Steelers have been playing, they still have a chance at a WC, and could still conceivably win their division with all six AFCN matchups remaining on the schedule.

Peyton Manning comes to town tonight. For some reason the Chargers had his number in Indy. I'm not about to hold my breath. This Chargers team has let me down too many times. Besides if Norv doesn't screw things up the refs will make sure Manning has a chance to burn them. I just hope they do what they always do against Manning, pressure him into mistakes.

Just fire A.J. & Norv now. The new GM can trade Rivers in the offseason. If it were me I would have traded him in April at the draft, but it is what it is.
