That one was brutal, but not sure why he's being fined. I've come to the conclusion I no longer know what a catch is, what a legal hit is, and the tuck rule all depends on what mood the ref is in.

yeah it is, but I don't think the NFL likes the "using a helmet as a weapon" technique in that block. 10 years ago, heck probably five years ago, that kind of hit wouldn't even garner a second look.

I want to say as recently as 3 years ESPN had a segment called jacked up where it was plays just like this one being celebrated.

This Colts/Jags game is full of mess. Penalty fest. And now every fan is booing that they didn't call a pass interference that I'd say was borderline. And Vinateri missed a CHIP shot to take the lead. They're down 2 with 2 minutes left, Jags ball. Luck is slowly getting better, but he had a NASTY INT earlier.

So much BAD just happened. The Skins deserved to lose. Hell, they deserved to lose by 30. But the refs turned the end of that game into an ABSOLUTE CLUSTERFUCK. Half the Bengals team came on the field and the Skins got a Unsportsmanlike Call? I've never seen Shanahan that mad before.

These scab refs HAVE to go.
