Can't say I've ever seen someone take a knee on their own 4 on a kickoff.

That's a new one.

Without looking it up, can anyone name the WR with the most receiving yards in a single regular Season game?

Bonus points for the year and how many yards it was.

Jerry rice, 300 yds

Just a guess

Since I don't see this going very far, I'll just give the answer.

1989 - Flipper Anderson of the Los Angeles Rams against the New Orleans Saints - 336 Yards.

The Rams won the game with a FG in OT and had 472 total yards on Offense.

So Flipper was 70% of their Offense that day.

Flipper is only 1 of 4 receivers to ever get over 300 yards in a game, and the last one since 1989.

The first receiver to get 300 or more yards in a game was Jim Benton of the Cleveland Rams back in 1945 with 303 yards.

Along with them are:

Stephone Paige of the Chiefs back in 1985 with 309 yards and Cloyce Box of the Lions back in 1950 with 302 yards.

Oh. So no, then.
I see Rice got 289 yards once

My guess for throwing = warren moon, 520 yards,
And Rushing = AP, 250 yards

Norm Van Brocklin of the Los Angeles Rams in 1951 threw for 554 yards.

And yes for AP, but it was 296 yards back in 2007.

I was close on Moon = 527 yards in 1990.

just to illustrate how the CFL is a passing league (ie. Tebow would get eaten up), the CFL single game record is 713 yards (Matt Dunnigan, 1994)

To be fair though, the CFL field is also like 160 Yards long with an end zone that also houses small communities.

The first time I ever played fantasy football that won the championship for me. Very old days, we'd wait for the paper to be delivered to score our games.

Sources indicating that Tebow to Jacksonville is a virtual certainty for 2013...

What i find hard to believe is not one team will take Tebow on their team and make him a tight end/fullback.

IMO he would be a decent addition to any offense in those roles but not as a QB.

Pretty sure he's made it clear (tim couch style / or was is eric crouch.. I always got those two confused...), that he has no desire to play those positions and prefers to focus on being an NFL QB. So no one wants to bother with him on trying to make that happen.

Too bad every single sign points to that being the only way he gets on an NFL field, and the only one that doesn't see that is named Tebow.
