If so he's doing a good job of it. Won't test on his pro day, got measured and ran a few drills but no 40, no short shuttle, no 3 cone and he looked bad doing the drills.Maybe he's trying to tank his draft stock

Carter career stats college: 83 tackles, 18.5 TFL, 6 sacks, 0 int, 4 PD, 2 FF, 0 FR
Andersons stats in college: 205 tackles, 62 TFL, 34.5 sacks, 1 int, 4 PD, 1 FF, 0 FR
Wondering if they take the kid from TechI know this YOUTUBE is just an opinion, but I'm seeing Carter's stock plummet more and more. Work ethic concerns from various scouts, the car accident scene, combine has looked sloppy...
I wonder if he gets a big contract (fully guaranteed) as a top 5 pick if he's just going to Haynesworth it up. Pete has taken guys with off field concerns, but he's always looked for guys that are athletic and buy into building a winning team/organization.

What we need is for Atlanta to throw the house to AZ to move up to 3 so Anderson falls to 5 which is a pipe dream but that's my hope. I will say if any coach can get a kid back on track it's Pete but he has to be 100% confident cause Seattle doesn't get many chances at a top 5 pick.Yah Wilson, Anderson, or trade down is seeming more and more likely. Carter is starting to drop in some mock drafts (to like almost #10). It would actually probably be better if he does get drafted later because he wont get the money, want a payday and try harder for his rookie contract... and MAY mature/get swept up in the NFL. No question the talent is there, but it clearly seems the mental aspect is not.

For the team acquiring him in a trade the cap hit would be less than 5 million, mmm sounds interesting.
Guess I should have looked closer, 10 million is sort of steep. No, for the team acquiring him the cap hit would be $10.125 million ($9.125 million base salary + $1,000,000 roster bonus).
Have to fill holes and should use the FA market if possible in addition to the draft, at the right cost Kelly could work ( if he is cut) but given contracts being given he'll likely be too expensive.Kelly was so so last year but he's almost 30. I get Centers can play well into their mid 30s, but dunno on this one. I think Seattle is just gonna be stuck drafting a center, all the good let alone average ones are basically gone.
BTW - is Shane Waldron staying with us? Because if he leaves this whole fuckin' thing is gonna come collapsing down.
Was reading up on some stuff about him and apparently he’s messed up in the head right now losing a teammate and staffer in that accident, he seems depressed, uninspired right now… Pete is good at reaching young players mentally, so let’s not count out Seattle grabbing him regardless, he’s a talent, it’s all there, at NT he’d absolutely hold the line and improve our run D, provide pressure up the gut in the 3-4 …I know this YOUTUBE is just an opinion, but I'm seeing Carter's stock plummet more and more.
