Honestly....

Defense should be 1st round key.

We can get someone like Duggar in the 2nd
They way I look at it is, what hasn't kept us competitive this year? Certainly, I feel like the offense has for the most part... but to me, it's the defense that has let us down big time... That's why I'm more inclined to focusing on that part of the ball in the early part of the draft...

I agree but with the Whole Geno Check.................

We might need to use 1 on a QB in the first 2 days

Teams Have Makeup Concerns with Jalen Carter

Updated Dec. 15, 2022
By Charlie Campbell. Follow Charlie on Twitter @draftcampbell.

Since the start of the 2023 NFL Draft process, Georgia defensive tackle Jalen Carter has been one of the consensus top prospects. Scouts and other evaluators have called Carter a better prospect than former teammates Jordan Davis and Devonte Wyatt, both first-round picks last April. Carter has had a fine junior season while dealing with some injuries, and he closed out the regular season with some impressive performances. Carter looks destined to be a top-10 pick next April in the 2023 NFL Draft, but pro team sources also note they have some makeup concerns with Carter.

Team sources told WalterFootball.com that scouts have heard that Carter is not a hard worker at Georgia and they do not believe that he loves football. It is not uncommon for prospects who are supremely talented to not be seen as hard workers. They are so physically gifted that things have come easy, and they have not had to work exceptionally hard to be elite at college level. However, that changes in the NFL, where teams want players who have a good work ethic and love to play football. Carter has developed a reputation of not being a worker or loving football, so that could rub some NFL teams that are picking high in the first round the wrong way.
dont like the sound of this, but would it deter Carroll? probably not.

Seahawks haven't said/ indicated anything about the draft, so why would you say that , other than to take a swipe?

I don't want him now.

The guy is a freak FREAK. But to be good, you need to marry the game of football. If he doesn't then destroy us with another team, If you want to....

Not taking a swipe at anyone, history shows Carroll feels he can motivate players that may have character issues.

Don't think lazy players ever appealed to Pete, other character issues perhaps.

The cardinals-broncos game is a huge tossup at this point, but even if the broncos win that one we should still be solidly in the #3 spot.

One of the worst mocks I have seen:

Has us passing on will Anderson for a WR at 3.
Haha... That's too funny... No way we take a WR there... I do like the idea of grabbing Willy with Ika being take with our 2nd first rounder...

The deeper we fall into this hole, the more positions we'll need in the draft.

Problem is, where do we end up beginning? My sight was initially on the defense, but as more players QUIT, the choices become more and more likely.

regardless of what we do at QB, we have to be able to stop the run and run the ball. DL and C/G have to be our top priorities.

if we go with a rookie QB and we havent addressed the interior OL and our DL, he is going to get obliterated.
