regardless of what we do at QB, we have to be able to stop the run and run the ball. DL and C/G have to be our top priorities.

if we go with a rookie QB and we havent addressed the interior OL and our DL, he is going to get obliterated.

Plenty of defensive help in this draft available after the Bronco pick, players that may be better than the ones hyped for the early picks. It will be addressed. OL may be harder, not sure this draft is going to have players to fix it.

this draft will determine how Carroll finishes his career here. If we take a big risk on a QB high and dont get a badly needed difference maker on defense, we may end up have a long string of losing seasons.

This defense has been straight bad for years. We need a difference maker on the line. Maybe it isn't Carter or Anderson but then maybe we should trade down. Doesn't seem like any of the QB prospects are really proving to be an elite type pick.

I think Young is legit, but I dont like his size.

Yeah, I would be really worried that Young would be hurt all the time. I doubt he will be on the board when we draft anyway.

Seattle still has 3 picks after Denver's pick and with todays loss probably moves them up a few more spots

7 wins is still almost 2x where most of us thought we would be, losing both games wont change my opinion on where the team is at.

I’ll never turn down a postseason opportunity. But I won’t be disappointed if we don’t make it an intern get a better draft pick. But on the other hand I will be ecstatic that they got into the playoffs… Playoff experience for our young guys would be a good thing

It's funny how people bitch about "it's not good enough to just make the playoffs and lose the first game, we would be better off not making the playoffs" after a early playoff exit but then say " We can still make the playoffs" on a team that is worse than the team they had LAST YEAR that went 7-10.

Making the playoffs doesn't help the Hawks AT ALL! Having 4 picks in the first 50 selections would be a HUGE boost and you wont get that if you make the playoffs even if you lose the first game. They got 4 right now in the top 50 and 5 in the top 80.

its not out of the realm of possibility we end up with the 10th pick, the difference between 10 and 20 is huge. it could mean a rookie QB, a second difference maker on defense, or trading down and grabbing more picks.

I Looked at the poll thread we had - only about 30% thought we'd win 4 or fewer games. 1/3 though 6. The rest divided between 5 and over 6. I personally thought between 6-8, but voted for 6. Honestly, the team has outperformed where I thought they would be at times - and underperformed where I thought they would be at others. In all, they look like a young team with inconsistent leadership.
