Glad you mentioned Eskridge. Wow, what a disappointment. Most weeks I forget he's even on the team (I am assuming he still is). I was convinced when drafted that he was going to be that guy who could run those crossers and sweeps that the Rams killed us with so often over the last handful of years. Right now, it looks like I was more wrong about that than maybe any other football take I can remember. It's either that or the Russell trade.

Well I thought once we acquired Waldron he'd be utilized... Waldron loves the jet sweeps and Eskridge seems like the perfect fit for that... but yah... I don't know if he can't figure out the playbook or just doesn't care at this point. I know he's gone through some injury issues but even when healthy he's practically doing nothing. I think he threw a nice block at some point this season lol.

That's baffling to me... I have to imagine the entire Denver team has given up at this point. Naturally I'll root for the Cards. Wilson needs to stop his... what was it? Tiger blood or something? Or some sort of Marvel hero blood? Whatever his dork ass team 3 was telling him to say.

realistically they should sit him for the year, they have nothing to play for and nothing to gain. knowing wilson, he will play anyways.

I can pipe dream on drafting Carter, Murphy, and Ika with our first 3 picks, can't I? I know we're not getting Murphy with our 1st rounder, but at least Ika and Carter are a possibility.

If they ended up with Carter, Trenton Simpson and Ika with the first three picks I'd be thrilled.

I think that a front 3 of Jalen Carter, Siaki Ika and Shelby Harris would be pretty formidable if the Seahawks stick with the 3-4. As much as I love Poona Ford, I think the Seahawks let him walk if they stick with this current scheme because he's not a good fit. Trenton Simpson would replace Barton, which I think you'd love to see. The nice thing about those 3 is that they can play in either a hybrid 3-4 or a 4-3 if the Seahawks decide to go back to that.

the McShay-Kiper mock draft has us taking Carter at 2 and S Brian Branch at 18.

Dont know much about branch but he sounds like a jamaal adams clone with better coverage skills.

I've seen Branch mocked to us before but more so to be our nickel CB so Cody Bryant can go back outside which is probably a better fit for him.

Those Cardinals sure did suck today. They just plain sucked. I've seen some teams suck before that they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

The Rams next week seem to be the Broncos only winnable game left because KC will be playing starters to try and lock up HFA and the Chargers are still in the race (although Titans about to tie it up. Don't fuck this up San Angeles). I can't imagine Denver beating either of those teams.... the Rams is the dicey one.... hopefully Donald is ready to go next week.

Gonna suck if the Broncos win against the Rams because that would put the Lions and the fuckin' Cards ahead of us. Next week is a must root for the Rams game.

Agreed. If we have a top 3 pick give me Carter, Anderson, or Stroud... if one happens to be there at 4/5 fine with that too.

IMO every other player is a notch below those guys and we should trade down.

AND YAY the Chargers won! That will keep them alive in the playoff race so they'll play their ass off against Denver.
