Shit, man......what rock have you been under?

How many times do I have to say that none of us know anything? Tony Stewart is the only person who knows what happened. I keep saying that.....over and over again.

There is not enough evidence to prove anything right now. I was just trying to get you to see my point of view. I already saw yours.

Apparently Kevin Ward Sr. has been stating the same thing, JJM. There are several stories out there that Ward Sr. is questioning Stewart's intent and there is a possibility Stewart may still face criminal charges as stated in the articles. They are all over the internet. The one I read this morning was on yahoo sports. Ward Sr is beginning to make some noise. We shall see where he takes things.

That wing doesn't prove much to me.

What it says to me is, if he didn't see him until the last second, then he probably wouldn't have seen him at all.....because the wing would have been in the way by that time.

He had to have seen him out of the front of the car if he indeed did see him.

The ability for stationary people to see someone has little to nothing to do with the lighting. They knew he hit the wall and it was easy to see him. The vantage of being in a moving car is just entirely different. This should just be obvious.

I do love that you tell someone a couple of posts ago the tires only stick out 6-8 inches from the car and then post a picture with giant back wheels sticking out a lot more than 8 inches from their bodies.

People keep saying that the track was dark as the reason Tony couldn't see him. :noidea:

As for the rear tire. That would be 6-8 inches extra that is on he right side, not 6-8 inches total from the body of the car. Those numbers are from pitman btw, I only knew the tire was bigger.

Btw, those rear tires sure look like they stick out a whole lot further than the 6-8 inches that 4d20 said they do.

That looks more like 15-18 inches at least.

That back tire is sticking WAY out away from the vehicle. Also this angle is kind of like looking in at the driver from a similar angle to that of Ward that day. Not a lot of visibility coming out of a turn. Yeah, in a straight away for sure, but not a corner.

That picture is of a car that is racing, that is why it is sideways. The cars aren't sideways like that under caution.

Again, that is 6-8 inches EXTRA and it was pitman that gave the measurement.

Please show me where I said it was too dark to see him.

All I've said is we don't know what he could see. We don't know what he was looking at in the turn. We don't know how much time he had to react.

I mean you know because you are an expert, but we don't know.

I'm not sure what EXTRA is supposed to mean. That tire sticks well out and it is that tire that killed Ward.

Well you jumped on the guy for mentioning that people could see from the stands. All I did was say it was proof that lighting wasn't the problem.

You took exception with me over that, so I don't know what else to tell you.

The right tire is wider than the left side tire by that much is what "extra" means.

Good points. Considering that Ward was moving to the right of Stewarts car. I wonder if Stewart saw him when he was in front of the car and then the kid essentially disappears behind the wing on the right so Stewart didn't know where he was, then gunned it to try and maneuver away from where he thought the kid was?

I don't know how that is relevant to how the kid got caught up under it.

The back tire sticks well out away from the body. The kid didn't have to be that close to the car to still be hit by it. That's the point.

Could be.

I'm not liking how we're starting to see eye-to-eye here....

It has to do with the front tires not hitting him, and the rear tires hitting him.

The tire only sticks out 6-8 inches.

The reason the back end hit the guy is because Tony hit the gas which kicked the rear end out towards the guy. It was a bit more than 6-8 inches of tires that sucked him under the tire and spit him out.

People keep saying that the track was dark as the reason Tony couldn't see him. :noidea:

Not sure what you're trying to say then. In your first post, you seem to say the tire doesn't stick out far enough from the car to suck the kid under unless Stewart did something intentional.

Then, in the next 2, you say it's an extra or additional 6-8 inches. Your second 2 posts seem to indicate that the tires are wide enough to have sucked the kid under without Stewart necessarily doing anything intentional.

Am I missing something?:noidea:

Ya that sure would get me somewhere.

Whining? I am not whining. I had a view on this incident about 35 pages ago and was corrected by someone who made a valid point. It made me think a bit and I agreed.

I have not argued in the least bit here.

Keep calm and chive on.
