Tonights pre-season game

We have to see a lot of CK tonight and all of the pre-season. Saw hilights of Gabbert and Mallet on NFL network and did pretty well on their first pre-season game.

More than Smith you think? I would think that Smith is the one that needs the reps. he needs to know also that Harbaugh has confience in him. Interested to see how Kaepernick does though even though pre-season is a weak barometer.

I know this preseason is a whole different animal due to the lockout. But isn't the last preseason game usually played by the backups anyways?

The starters are playing around 20 plays. So there will be a lot of CK tonight.

If I recall correctly, I read somewhere that CK is expected to get the majority of the playing time. Smith will start and problable have a QTR or a QTR and half. CK will go up to probably earlyth QTR. Then Masoli and the other rookie QB will split the rest

I do. Smith should already know Harbaugh has confidence in him, the off-season should have taught him that. Honestly, what Smith needs to do is get some confidence in himself.

As for Kap and his reps, I definitely believe you will see Kap take the bulk of the snaps tonight.

Considering we haven't brought in a true #3 QB I would expect CK to get 2 to 3 quarters of play depending on the snap count. So he'll have plenty of reps to get himself some good experience.

Not really expecting stellar play in general so really I'm just looking to see how they look tempo wise and if they keep mistakes to a minimum.
